Project terms
Clear scope, written approval and agreed payment milestones. These public terms summarize the process. Each project has a separate written agreement.
Provider and written agreement
AJ Web Studio is an independent studio led by Aaron John Domingo. Browsing, using the checklist or sending a free inquiry creates no project contract, subscription or payment obligation. Every project requires a separately accepted written quote and agreement. Public information is a summary. Your agreement records the scope, deliverables, assumptions, fee, payment schedule, material dependencies, approvals, third-party costs and acceptance criteria.
Defined scope and fixed price
The agreed development price covers a clearly defined scope. It does not include unlimited pages, systems or new requests. No public fixed amount is promised. Normal pages included in the approved scope are covered by the project quote. Additional requirements need a separate estimate and written approval.
Development payments
Every website is quoted around your business requirements. A 50% initial payment confirms the project after written quote and agreement acceptance. Development begins once essential materials are ready. The remaining 50% is payable after final approval and before launch or handover, unless a written exception is agreed. Written acceptance and initial payment book the project. The active production schedule starts after essential approved materials and access are ready. Larger work may use the separately negotiated milestone split stated in its proposal. Payment confirmation uses actual records.
Materials, access and delays
You can inquire before materials are ready. At kickoff, provide accurate approved business details, copy, services or menus, prices and imagery or agreed substitutes. Confirm rights and required consents. Content assistance is additional work when separately quoted. Never submit passwords, financial details or confidential files through the public form. Arrange private folders and limited invitations after agreement. Missing materials are identified with reminders and an agreed pause or revised schedule. Prolonged inactivity follows the written agreement, with no hidden charges.
Revision rounds and defects
Up to 3 structured revision rounds included. One round is one consolidated feedback list within approved scope, such as minor spacing, color, existing-copy or image changes. You can approve earlier. Implementation defects against agreed specifications do not consume aesthetic revision rounds. New pages, systems, languages, significant redesign or substantial content are separately scoped.
Changes and written decisions
Change requests follow request, assessment of time/cost/scope, written estimate, written approval and execution. Chargeable additions do not start without approval. Keep retrievable written acknowledgements of scope, fees, milestones, material dependencies, substantial design decisions, paid changes and final approval. Email acceptance, a signed proposal or another agreed record may be used subject to applicable law. WhatsApp supports conversation but important decisions need an organized written record.
Final review, launch and handover
Review the staging site against agreed acceptance criteria. Final written approval precedes the final invoice. Launch and final handover follow real confirmation of the agreed balance, unless a written exception is approved. The handover identifies agreed files, documentation, accounts, domain/hosting responsibilities and owner duties.
Post-launch bug-fix period
A 14-day complimentary bug-fix period from production launch covers implementation defects against the agreed specification. Ongoing updates and new features are available separately. Report reproducible issues through the listed contact or quote route. Response expectations follow the agreement. This period excludes new content, pages, features, redesign and new third-party services. Provider outages, client edits and care responsibilities follow applicable terms, without excluding genuine studio implementation defects. It is separate from ongoing care.
Domains, ownership and licenses
Your domain can stay in your name. We can help configure and manage it when agreed. Whenever practical, use a registrar account you control with delegated access. Deliverable rights, source files and access after full payment follow the agreement, subject to third-party licenses for fonts, images, plugins and private assets. Hosting and infrastructure ownership, exports, backup formats, migration assistance, disclosed offboarding fees, notice and reasonable handover times are recorded before managed services begin.
Optional care and third-party charges
Prefer to manage your own website? No mandatory AJ Web Studio maintenance plan. Hosting, updates and advanced platform support can be quoted separately. A recurring plan requires separate acceptance of scope, allowances, provider, fees, start date, billing interval, payment method, response targets, renewal/cancellation notice, fee changes and offboarding. Domains are usually billed annually. Hosting and usage subscriptions have their own cycles. State included, client-direct and disclosed pass-through charges in the agreement. One-off advanced builds are not automatically recurring plans. No automatic billing operates on this public site.
Cancellation, non-payment and disputes
Your written agreement defines quote expiry, cancellation, termination, completed work, funds, reasonable reminders and any suspension or launch postponement for non-payment. Refunds and liability depend on that agreement and applicable law. We do not impose a blanket nonrefundable-deposit rule or waiver of statutory rights. Legal jurisdiction, tax treatment and dispute arrangements must be confirmed for the actual project before acceptance.
Confidentiality and data
The agreement identifies confidential information, data responsibilities and any optional platform operations. The public form collects only inquiry details and supports no file uploads or client portal. See the privacy notice for current inquiry, email, spam-check and browser-storage processing.
